Session 1: Enriching Life: Enjoyment and Participation
Overview: How does ICH make our lives more enjoyable, beautiful, and enriched? How does living heritage enrich civic life? This session presents case studies that highlight how non-ICH specialists and those with no professional training in heritage work are brought to take interest in and participate in the enjoyment of ICH.

Session 2: Inclusive Society: Solidarity and Respect
Overview: ICH cannot only solve global problems such as environmental issues and food security, but also enhance civic life by resolving conflicts and building solidarity within society. This session presents ICH activities that help us understand the larger role of living heritage in public life.

Panel Discussion 1: Agency of the Public in ICH Enjoyment: Direction for ICH Promotion Activities and Policy
Overview: Sessions 1 and 2 focus on case studies related to the enjoyment of ICH and the social value of ICH respectively, connected to the activities of promotional organizations that initiate participatory activities and policy institutions that build social infrastructures. The goal of this discussion is to think about the direction of promotional activities and policy-making to achieve sustainability in civic life.
